Lyrics
what a day, such a day- it's a day to die pretty. not a cloud in the sky over new york city. and in a dream, i see thousands of people falling out of the sky. 1 mississippi, 2 mississippi, 3 mississippi, 4... and in my dream, i hear oices of children, calling out in the night. crying out- for me: it's only a dream. it doesn't mean a thing. i reach out, but you're not here. oh ne, oh my, what a day to die pretty! the secret's in your keep. behind a wall of sleep. the moon will guide your way.
oh. hell! what a day! it's your day to die pretty! that's a dark, dark cloud over new york city. and like a dream, i see airplanes & buildings- come crashing down! and like some dreamer, i see angels of fire, reign-down from on-high! rain down! lie, lie, lie... lie, lie, lie... lie, lie, lie- lie. lie lie.....
i know it's just a dream, and i'm over reacting- but the light's out, and i don't see a thing! it's only a dream. it doesn't mean a thing.
i'm so glad you're here!
