A song that started as an Andean wuayno and slowly drifted into the caribbean side of Latin America. Given by the fact that there are two Puerto Ricans in the Band.

Song Description

Sand and Foam A song about spiritual and physical love in a new form of Salsa rhythm from Puerto Rico melded and enhanced with the sounds of panpipes and Andean Cumbia overtones. It si hard to classify in either one or the other genre because it has well mixed elements of both. Yet this well may be the first time ever that South American pan pipes have been used to play ina salsa. The pan pipes sound pull the song more towards the South american cumbia side. But if you focus on the rhythm it is distinctively caribbean. The inclusion of a classicl guitar in the rhythm section suggests overtones of rumba too.
