Seems like I?ve been gone half a lifetime.
Can?t remember the last time I was home.
I?m feeling like now is the right time
to turn around and go back where I came from.

All the places I dreamed of, ended up letting me down.
They?re just blurs in my rearview mirror,

Thought I needed to roam through this country.
Wanted something that I could call my own.

Feels like I left myself when I left home.
