Story Behind The Song
Months after finally dumping the jerk, I spotted him on the town looking pathetic and depressed. I wrote this song about "sucking it up"- learning from your failures- what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Obviously, in his case, that didn't work, but it certainly did in mine. That guy was a jerk, and I have learned so much and am so much stronger now as a result of my experience with him.
Song Description
A song about how happy I was to have finally gotten rid of my nasty ex-boyfriend... About learning to appreciate my own falures for the sake of education, and trying to impose that view on others.
