Love the slide and sax!
This song blends several genres- country, rock & R & B!!! Enjoyed the contrasts between stanzas and choruses.
Good feel to the song, kind of country meets blues, but horns take it to the edges of both genre's.. that makes it an interesting listen,,, the vocal style has real personality and character being a bit imperfect and unusual which is essentially the mark of a signature voice, instruments are played well, grooves well, mixed well.

Very cool. I love the singer coming right in and getting right to the meat on the bone! I'm a big fan of quirky voices so this fits the bill. The recording is well-done. Nice performances of all players. Sweet slide guitar and sax! Keep up the great work! This was a pleasure to hear!
