the song is good but sounds really retro in terms of sound instrumentation and production..
I also think that while the vocal is good it could communicate a bit more personality- think Solo era david Lee Roth- and that would help to SELL the song.
The sax sounds ok here but only served to take the song more in the direction of retro than modern.
I also think that you needed to create a bigger lift in the choruses- help them STAND OUT more in the song- rock a bit harder and move a bit faster.
Lots of cool stuff going on in this song. Nice melody and harmonies. I'm really digging the sax. The percussion is cool and the guitar strumming those 16th notes really keeps the song moving. The bass guitar supports the song well. I really like the feel good vibe this song has.
