Story Behind The Song

Evren Ozan is 10 years old (9 when he recorded this piece). Focusing on his Native American flute playing, "Walking With Belle" is a spontaneos studio jam between Evren and producer Mac Ritchey, who was on electric oud for the jam. The structure for the piece was created from a single 10-minute long first-take, edited after the fact to highlight the top moments of the jam. Filled out with drum loops, B3 and bass (Ritchey), and the funky didj stylings of Graham Wiggins "Dr. Didj", this song was named after Evren's dog, Belle.
