Story Behind The Song

I am a college student and some of the strings on my guitar broke. I tuned my guitar to open D tuning and did not replace the strings due to a tight budget. I often sat in silence and contemplated the complexities and pain that comes with life; the proverbial broken strings of life. All-in-all, though, I have been given peace; a stillness within my soul that has its own song to my Creator, Savior, God. This song reflects that peace in the midst of turmoil given by God through the hope He has placed within me. My hope in Jesus Christ alone.
