Story Behind The Song
This tune was written by Lodge Worster and brought to R. Walt Vincent (Pete Yorn, Liz Phair, Fastball) for production. Vincent started to work on the tune, but had to part in the middle of the project to work on Pete Yorn's sophomore album "Day I Forgot". Worster's buddy Chris Fudurich (Nada Surf, Matthew Sweet,Simple Minds) jumped in to help make this track a reality.

Lyrics
Wastin? my time, float down the street
But no one seems to care or to notice me,
Because I?m just a scene from someone else?s dream?
And I remember the time before when love was knocking on your front door
And I remember all the times you laughed at my uncertainty
Because I?m just a scene form someone else?s dream?
Is anybody out there,
Waiting just for me,
?Cause everybody has a someone in their life
Except for me.
Space and time pass me by,
Down the boulevard of dreams,
And I?m drowning in the flood of light
From the bold marquees and I wanna know?
Is anybody out there,
Waiting just for me,
?Cause everybody has a someone in their life
Everyone?s an ocean,
Except for me.
