The song is about my relationship with my dad and about how he never listens to me and thinks he knows best. We always argue and writing the song was a good way of getting my feelings across. I wrote the song after an arguement we had.

I wrote the lyrics to my song in about 5 minutes, after a heated row with my dad. I always write best when I'm going through some sort of emotional turmoil. The music came a few days after, when I was sitting at the piano, just experimenting with different chords.
