Story Behind The Song

I feel very fortunate as though I have some wonderful guardian angels who have been looking out for me. I was driving a red convertable Jaguar across a bridge in Michigan on a beautiful summer day and this whole lyric came into my head. It's on my CD 'Wake Up, Start Dreaming' and I receive beautiful letters and email from people who have said they have been touched by this song. I guess I'm not the only one who talks to angels... Song Description

As I am excitedly explaining to the angel how wonderful it feel to be alive, I hand the angel a rock, at which point it falls to the ground. I explain in the last line, that saying I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, is also what it's like to feel alive.
