Story Behind The Song

My boyfriend and I played long distance for a year when he lived in Athens, GA and I was up in Charlotte, NC. Every weekend I would get on I-85 and head south for 3 hours to get to him. The idea is that you have this person you can't live without and you'll do whatever it takes to be together. Time passes and life seems to get in the way sometimes. I guess the moral of the story is to take time to love one another, because they might not be around forever!
