Story Behind The Song
I wrote this for my Mom - She loved to read and learn about other cultures. She always wanted to travel but had a lot of kids. She traveled later in life and fulfilled her dream to some degree - She instilled her love of reading and learning in her children.

Lyrics
Armchair Traveler
When she was fifteen
She had big dreams
She was gonna to travel around the world
The castles and the pyramids
Called her name at night
With a good imagination
She traveled light
She's an Armchair traveler
She'll tell you anything you want to know about any place you want to go
She's been there a million times in her mind
She's going to go someday it's just a matter of time.
When she was nineteen
She wore his wedding ring
They had their first baby girl
The atlas and the travel guides kept her company
Between the diapers and the dishes she kept her fantasy
She's an Armchair traveler
She'll tell you anything you want to know about any place you want to go
She's been there a million times in her mind
She's going to go someday it's just a matter of time.
No regrets for the roads not taken
We have so much to give
No concerns for the destination
It's the journey that we live
She's an Armchair traveler
She'll tell you anything you want to know about any place you want to go
She's been there a million times in her mind
She's going to go someday it's just a matter of time.
