Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song as a gift to a dear friend who was in the terminal phase of cancer. It was important to me that she understand what an impact she had made on others and what an inspiration she had been to all who knew her. Music seemed to be the best

Lyrics
EVERY NOW AND THEN
Every now and then
You meet someone so pure of heart and mind,
Whose patient eyes to all your faults are blind.
You find this gem every now and then.
In your darkest hour
She comes to you with sympathetic ear,
With heart in hand, a warm embrace, a tear,
She comforts you in your darkest hour.
Never needing center stage or fame,
She is captivating all the same.
With intoxicating revelry, humility,
She touches you
But well before her time,
With classic grace and courage she departs,
And memories caress the wounded heart
In solitude, well before her time.
Though each passing year may ease the pain,
Fond remembrances revive her name.
Still reflecting on that certain friend
Every now and then.
(Keyboard Solo)
Though each passing year may ease the pain,
Fond remembrances revive her name.
Still reflecting on that certain friend?.
Every now and then.
