Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song the day before my grandfather was murdered. His spirit must have been with me, because he always talked to me about looking at life as if the glass was half-full instead of half-empty. He always found enjoyment in little things, and loved the grand scheme of nature. This song is dedicated to him.

This song is for those who look at life negatively. Who try so hard to succeed because they want to fight their pain that they forget the beauty of what's around them, such as nature and love. Rain can be dreary and sad, but it is also beautiful. If you love life, you love the rain.
