Story Behind The Song

When I moved to the US from Bulgaria, I was in a relationship. I loved my then-girlfriend, but I wanted to stay here so badly that I decided to break up with my girlfriend. It was a cool decision, not a heart-felt one. By breaking up with her I hurt myself as much as I hurt her. It took me a few years to forgive myself. The song was written right after we broke up. It expresses what I felt at the time.
