Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song after watching and being inspired by the movie, "No Country for Old Men."
Song Description
A murdering sociopath who sees his self-serving behaviors as permissible. He uses his victim as merely an instrument. After killing a former friend in his sleep he compares the smell of his victim's fear to rain.

Lyrics
There is something about you that leads me to believe you have live a long-life.
Maybe your shallow walk or your shallow gaze. You see, I never asked you for your advice, but it seems that you are going to give it to me anyway.
Hold on to the night. There across the way. I can feel your, feel your fright and it smells like rain. Like rain.
It wasn't long ago when you and I called each other friends. Ain't it sad how it all went down. Now I stand before you while you are sleeping in your bed, knife in hand I'm ready to put you underground.
Hold on to the night. There across the way. I can feel your, feel your fright and it smells like rain. Like rain.
Hold on to the night. There across the way. I can feel your, feel your fright and it smells like rain. Like rain.
