Story Behind The Song

Inspired by rap songs in which the rappers idolize themselves --- prime examples being Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady" and "My Name Is," Dr. Dre's "Dre Day" and "Forgot About Dre," and Snoop Dogg's "Who Am I" -- Kid Mercury decided to apply the concept to himself and his mellowed-out acoustic melodies. Of course it's all just a joke, really; just some innocent fun.

Song Description

In this introductory track, Kid Mercury honestly -- albeit a tad narcissistically -- explains who is. Ironically, all that is conveyed is that he simply cannot be explained.
