Story Behind The Song
I saw a bugs bunny cartoon and with a little paprika and some oregano, this story came out.
Song Description
Not wanting to burn any bridges, the singer realizes that the only hope he has in losing his girl is to offer her an open door policy. Even if he were to see her only once in a while, he would be agreeable. While trying to look strong by keeping composure as she is leaving, he is also weak by not standing up for his deep feelings for the girl.

Lyrics
There Will Always Be A Place © Kevin Mahan
There will always be a place
For you in my heart
And if you must part
Know I’ll be here.
And there will always be a fire
Burning in my heart
Yearning for your heart
As I hold back my tears, as you disappear
Falling stars and flickering flames
Once burned brightly and had their fame
What will last beyond the day we die?
I don’t want to wait ‘til then
So come back to me now and again
If I can’t have you all of the time.
CHORUS
As much as I want life to be fair
Passionate exciting beyond compare
I’ve learned sometimes you have to compromise
I’d take you in a flash-by the wink of your eye
I’d give up all to be by your side
For right now I’ll have to fantasize.
