Story Behind The Song
After many years of being a performing musician and trying to get a solid band on the road, I found my perfect band. We had known each other in the music scene for over 15 years, but had never had the opportunity to play together. A week before our first show, our upright bass player broke his back in 3 places and shattered his wrist, as well as flat lining and coming back to life. Two months later we were on stage together, grateful for his recovery and the gift of health, saying to ourselves "Let's Do This Thing!" That's when the songs started pouring out of me and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
