On a hot summer evening in the year was 01
I saw a duo playing..Aztec Two-Step was the one
after six or seven albums...they were known throughout the land
after thirty years of playing...I could surely understand...

Chorus:
They had ? Snow on top?
their songs treated them kindly
there was snow on top
but there wasn't when I closed my eyes

Late night on the T.V. an interview was going down
what really got my attention was that old familiar sound
Crosby's harmonies were magic as Graham and Stephen boogied down
they spoke of a reunion.. maybe coming to my town
Chorus:
There was Snow on top
their lives treated them kindly
there was snow on top
but there wasn't when I closed my eyes

verse 3
I went to Grace land in December
to see the tombstone of "the king"
I thought of all of those that played guitar and all of those that sing
The time was just a moment ago..really it was so many years.
As I gazed upon his tombstone
my eyes filled up with tears....

There was Snow on top
though his fans treated him kindly
there was snow on top
but there wasn't when I closed my eyes
