As swirling leaves
start to fall one by one
we'll reminisce our
summer time of fun....

We've had a Popsicle Summer
for two
canoed down a river
wild and free
strolled sandy beaches
hand in hand
rode ferris wheels
round and round
gazed at stars
while lying on the ground

When winter sets in
we'll snuggle up
have fireplace chats
drink hot cocoa in our cups
But... we'll fondly recall
our hot summer days
when the whole world
was a playground kind of day..
