One Little Question/Let's Give Love a Chance
(c) Katherine R. Dougan
VERSE 1
One Little Question, I ask of you,
Does she make you happy, instead of blue?
If the answer's yes, I'll let you be,
But if you say no, then take a look at me.
VERSE 2
What I'm offering can't be bought because it's free,
But you'll have to take a chance before you see,
That I might be meant for you, and you for me,
So let's find out, confidentially.
CHORUS
C'mon baby, let's give love a chance,
I think maybe, that this could be romance, darlin',
Tell me baby, whatcha lookin' for,
'Cause what she's got, I've got it more.
VERSE 3
Two lonely hearts, lookin' for a home,
Shouldn't languish apart and all alone,
Baby call me, on the telephone,
Let me share the night with you until the dawn.
CHORUS
C'mon baby, let's give love a chance,
I think maybe, that this could be romance, darlin',
Tell me baby, whatcha lookin' for,
'Cause what she's got, I've got it more.
VERSE 4
I see the sadness, that grows in your eyes,
That empty feeling, that you can't deny,
Familiar comfort, doesn't make it right.
C'mon over, be with me tonight.
CHORUS
C'mon baby, let's give love a chance,
I think maybe, that this could be romance, darlin',
Tell me baby, whatcha lookin' for,
'Cause what she's got, I've got it more.
What she's offering, well I can offer more.
Oooo baby, I need you more.
