Story Behind The Song
The story - it reflects how a person with a mental disorder, who constantly is thinking of suicide, or at the point of commiting suicide feels as they lose touch with life, and drift off into an eternal sleep. It can also reflect the feeling of being stoned. Where your body is alive, but your mind is numb. Feeling nothing, but taking in everything. Constant feeling of doom. It represents the feeling of accepting death as part of your life, and not being afraid to die. That life is short, and you just weren't born with the tools to survive it. The day to day relentlessness of wanting to block out all your overwhelming emotions.

Lyrics
It's "A Dream Like State" of mind, To begin with,
That sleep like faze your body lies in, whilst your minds away,
Your eyes stay focused scanning all and everything, but not forgetting nothing ever sinks in,
Cos your not really there.
This separation in which, we all live,
Can you see it for what it once was, just one perspective, or can it be twisted,
Your not listening now, as you block it all,
concentrating on one thing,
Cos your not really there.
Its "A Dream Like State" of mind, to end in,
that sleep like faze, your body lies in, whilst your mind floats away,
Your eyes unfocused scanning, all and everything, but not forgetting nothing ever sinks in,
No more confusion to contend, with a lose lose situation,
Displacing all, from within, drifting off and letting go,
Ready to move on.
