a song about the politics of psychiatry and how 2 mentally ill patients found hope in each others companionship

Lyrics

Beneath a veil of eerie light, construction echoes through the night, to make a home for new psychiatry.
They reinforced the grounds, now sand bags bricks and walls surround, where beauty once had thrived investments rest on every pound.

They loved each other very much indeed, staring out the window at the sky. But for some reason when we offered up their freedom, they said they?d sooner have to die.

They come around in teams and pump them full of strange vaccines. It stings but sort of helps them come around. Two patients who?d unfurled, found comfort in each other?s worlds; they laughed they cried and talked each other, out of suicide.
