Story Behind The Song

I was inspired to write this song after attending a pagan gathering where I was deeply impressed by the presence of a speaker named Anna who turned out to be a very talented and dedicated Celtic witch. She was at the gathering with several of her coven members and I found myself very drawn to their cohesive group energy. I wrote most of the song the next day as I drove the 200 km home. From this beginning, we have all become very dear friends.

This is a celebration of witchcraft - its beauty and cohesiveness. A fantastic drum rhythm drives this song as the witches "spiral through the grove", sharing power as they dance.
