She has had enough of him but she keeps saying that she will return to keep him calm. The chorus is just comfirming that she probably won't return. She has found a place where she is happy. She misses him a little but it's a much healthier place to be.

She is talking about her relationship and feeling stuck and contrived in it. She whispers like she is trying to calm him down as she is talking to him. It's alsmost talking to herself and convincing herself that the best thing to do is go. As the song get's more and more intense, you can feel that there is no turning back.
