Story Behind The Song
I was in college being faced with all of these new decisions I never had to make before that were seriously affecting my soul. I had to express them and I wanted to create something beautiful that other people could share their similar inquiries in. It is the real that swims through our heart and mind: questions of life and answers of hope.
Song Description
Questions of uncertainty of our purpose here and our effect on the lives of others enter most of our minds. This song reflects on some of my questions, as well as my personal belief that one person truly can start a ripple effect to changing the world.

Lyrics
Just One Man
V1: My life is filled with the grace that?s been giving to me/ We never have time to reflect thankfully/ ?Cause we?re always so busy about/ Life?s crazy/ We can all relate that route/ And there we go with our job or school/ Here we go again trying to hurry out of our youth/ So we can do things that grown-ups do/ Smoke, drink/ Everything that can blow up on you/ And all grown-ups want to do is live/ As they did when they were kids/ No stress to repress their bliss/ Instead they exist pissed/ Where they went wrong, needing reason to subsist/ This is a fact of life that?s sad/ God bless every woman man?s lucky to have/ In a world filled with hate and disease/ We?ve got to make the best out of it and pray for peace/.
Chorus: I?m just one man, it?s just one life yet I know I can help this fight/ What can I do, this world is cold, and gradually I too will fold/ Yet I never want to breathe again, if in my breath I harm my brother/ I?m a ll alone without a friend, yet I know there should be no other/.
V2: Verse 2, still thinking that we?re first/ Losing any morals we were taught from birth/ Few know what it takes to make this work/ Cooperation, a nation of healing the hurt/ Sunny days don?t always rise/ Some haven?t seen the sunshine in quite some time/ Black, white ? still brothers of mine/ Yet last night many mothers lost their baby child/ Lord help in this struggle I?m in/ Please forgive me for my sins/ I?m breathing and thankful I am/ Yet still needing guidance/ Clean me, make me whole again/ Control me in/ This chess game, me verse the whole wide world/ Where the devil is the queen and his tease is girls/ I see the nail/ Coffin closing quickly now/ I scream out but no one?s there to assist me now/ My dreams reroute/.
Chorus
Chorus 2: What can I do, who can I find, to follow in footsteps behind/ Most just live like the rest, no direction, lust obsessed/ Yet I only pray it?s not too late, some feel that their chance is lost and/ I know I feel the same some days, wondering the power of one man.
V3: Mom, I thank you for all the love you gave/ Dad I thank you for the overtime to fill our plates/ Everyday is a learning lesson/ I?m getting/ Smarter yet farther from the turns of heaven/ And this music thing can touch us so/ History shows its influence is real/ I know/ That inside all I want to do/ Is help people through my lyrical view/ Yet it?s hard to do/ The world is changing, generations fall/ The devil managed to convince us he?s not real at all/ People questioning the truth and accept what?s new/ Abortion is killing the living/ Hard to accept but true/ And in a world with so much pain/ Love exists so large and our hearts contain/ The remedy that can change the world/ We?re one family, just a bunch of boys and girls/ Let?s make the change/.
Chorus 1&2
