Story Behind The Song
Good ol' fashioned hard work gave me the Buddy Holly inspired 50's soundtrack to a vaudeville homicide/heartbreak. A lot of re-writes and personal experience went into the song. I felt taken advantage of by my woman at the time & turned her into a villian in the song.
Song Description
Wizard of Ozz meets pulp fiction when our hero is conned by a sexy thief/murderer who uses him & steals his heart. Some of my most creative story telling.

Lyrics
Some like to run from things
Others like to drive
This is just the story of one night
Jim was the name of him
But folks call him the Tin Man
On account of his profession as a welder
Also he was cold and lost his heart
He said
She comes to me late at night
Who could it be this late at night?
This couldn?t be right
She was red and caught up in
Some vaudeville homicide
In some burlesque circus town in Denver
She was fit to steal his steel heart
Chorus
She let him burn down slow
She put on such a good show
How blind could he be?
Well?I think you know how far these things go
She reached right in and broke the skin
While Jim?s heart was still beatin?
She found it just in time for him to eat it
And ran off before his body hit the floor
Chorus
