Story Behind The Song

I wanted to write a song for her..actually, a song to her. A song telling her how, and what, I felt the first time I saw her walk into the room, how I felt after our first and subsequent date's; and, other romantic-mushy stuff. It was recorded in our garage studio on a Sansui Multi Track track cassette recorder. I handled all vocals, guitars, and drums, my brother on bass. I still love listening to it.

Song Description

Meeting my future wife at a local restaurant for the first time after many long conversations on phone and online thru, back in those days, AOL. We finally decided to take it to 'the next level' and meet. Well.. she took my breath away at that first meeting, and every time thereafter, when I would see her walk into a room, it make my heart go crazy. Hence; the title of the song.... We, brother and I, recorded so many songs on that Sansui, but many have been lost. I was fortunate to have saved this one as it meant so much to me to give my then girlfriend (my wife till this day) a mixed down cassette copy which I kept and transferred to my computer. It may not sound so good, but when I listen to it, the emotions still come alive and you can feel them in not only my vocals, but my guitar work as well. I performed all vocal tracks as well as guitar and two-finger drum tapping via a kbd drum section, I handled bass as well on this.
