When I came back from Iraq, I didn't realize how good my wife felt. Just to lay beside her and feel her heartbeat. (thats in the chorus). Many soldiers talk about missing home, friends, kids and family, they hardly ever mention the person they truly miss the most - their wife. I wrote this for mine.
