A couple I knew was facing very difficult time in their relationship - he couldn't figure out why. Her love for him had faded over the first few years of their marriage and he was losing her. Even though they were still together, the fire of their love had gone.

Song Description

The song is a sad attempt to save a doomed relationship. Even though they are still together, the fire of their love has gone. He doesn?t really know what went wrong but thinks it can be saved when in the first verse talks about all the things he did for her. He pleads his case in the chorus but realizes that he probably won?t get a reply. In the second verse he begins to realize that maybe he really did let her down pretty significantly and that this thing is really over.
