Story Behind The Song

It's one thing to read the Bible and hear what it has to say, but if you've ever been in a prayer meeting where prophecies are given along with words of knowledge or words of wisdom when the exact thing you are concerned about is spoken out from someone else, your faith really gets built up. It is a shame that so much of this kind of stuff has been manufactured and faked that you almost don't believe in the gifts of the spirit anymore. I was talking to someone one time about the effects of alcoholism on the children in the family, and was just giving an example of the children's behavior patterns and named two of her children. She knew what I was telling her was from God because of that. In ministering in homeless shelters, often the people would ask me if I saw things about them from their past when I would pray for them. It's so much more effective to pray for people when we pray what God wants us to pray and not what we think we should pray.
