Story Behind The Song
I wrote it because Nashville is kind of like Las Vegas in that it is a total gamble coming here trying to make it in music. It is like rolling the dice and trying to avoid rolling a seven twice(that is one of the lyrics in the song). This song was written while away on a summer trip at a friends lake home. I love the song and hoping you do too.
Song Description
This song was constructed while living here in Nashville and pursuing my dream of making it as an act in music. I likened it to that of being a gamble like going to Las Vegas is a gamble. There are several comparisons to things that happen in Las Vegas but how they are the same in Nashville and how they are different.

Lyrics
Nash-Vegas

Verse 1
No visual slot machines
No Las Vegas Strip
But I'm playing this honky tonk
Strictly for tips
It's like I'm rolling the dice
Avoiding rolling a seven twice
Chorus
Here in Nash-Vegas
Where dreams are made
Some are discovered
Some feel betrayed
A record contract or bust
Nash-Vegas get on the bus
Verse 2
No blue man group on stage
Just BB King playing his place
No Wayne Newton songs
Just Hank Williams sing-a-longs
Chorus
Bridge
We all want to win the jackpot cash
But the biggest cash in Nash-Vegas is Johnny Cash
Chorus
Nash-Vegas!
