Twilight in Moscow

Story Behind The Song

Our first adoption trip to Russia, in 2002. Russian sentiments following 9/11 were quite sympathetic to American concerns. This song was written for my son, Elijah, inspired by the stunning view from the Hotel Ukraine in Moscow as the city lights began to shine.

Song Description

This is a fusion of the Eastern Russian folk songs I heard on the radio and my own American melodic sensibilities.
