Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song as a teenager when my uncle died of cancer. Years later the song ministered to my own family when a friend of mine sang it for my father's funeral. This song was also selected as a memorial service song by the families of children killed in a school bus accident in Kentucky.

i asked the Lord about the wars and the strife.
About all those good people who have to suffer pain
and those that this world slowly drives insane.
I don't understand the reason
