Story Behind The Song

I was sitting outside under a night sky and looking out over the city lights. My head was awhirl, because I was a little drunk and Catherine and I had just had a fight. Sometime during all this, the idea for the song planted itself in my brain, but there was a MAJOR re-write before it was ready for the studio.

When you have a fight with your partner, you have to realize it just goes with the territory. This song is about trying to deal with such a fight.
