Story Behind The Song
A very good friend of mine Valerie Thompson is a two time land speed record holder and drag bike racer. One day she told me she lives her life a "Quarter Mile" at a time. It inspired me to write the song. Because of it's message I have scored it for symphony as well and we have high school symphonies perform it live with us. Our band tries to inspire our youth to live their dreams.
