Story Behind The Song
Written by a teenager at age 16. My Tattoo was written because Jarett wanted to write a funny song that would appeal to a much older country genre age group. Jarett realized that he must appeal to an adult auidence in country music. Destined to become a great writer, this is a great example of how a young man can use his creative talent to write songs that are marketable.
Jarett, now 18 years old has about 45-50 GREAT country songs. He is now living in Nashville and writing with some of Nashville's finest. He just needs his first break
Song Description
Guy goes into a bar.
Picks up a lady and forgets
everything that happens between picking her up and then waking up in a motel by himself with her named tattoed on his arm. It is a barbed wired heart with the name Cindy Lou. He is so mad at himself that he wants nothing to do with Cindy Lou. Yet she pursues a relationship with him.
He has no luck find love with any other women and In the end he calls up Cindy Lou and tells her he wants to know the lady on his tattoo.
