Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song about a period in my life when I faced a choice. I was at the bottom and considered suicide. I believe the prayer of my mother came through.

This song is about overcoming addiction to alcohol. Considering suicide and remembering something my mother had always told me, "The greatest gift a child can give, is that their parents they outlive.
