Story Behind The Song
I was involved with someone who was having trouble letting go of his past. It troubled our relationship and caused him to leave. After a while, I could tell he wanted to come back, but was afraid of rejection, so I wrote this as a love letter.

Lyrics
Don't You Worry
I saw you standing on the corner
Trying to decide if you will come up to my door
I know you've suffered
And I don't want to hurt you anymore
But I'm not that girl, I'm not that girl
I'm not the one who 'caused your pain
I'm the one who loves you
And you're the one who needs to hear me say
Don't you worry, you don't have to be alone
Don't you worry, 'cause I just wanted you to know
Don't you worry, there's no need for us to fight
Don't you worry, we will be alright
I know that I've been silent
All the times we've been apart
But I've been thinking of you, yeah,
You've been hiding deep inside my heart
'Cause I'm the one who loves you
And you're the one who needs a brand new start
Don't you worry, you don't have to be alone
Don't you worry, 'cause I just wanted you to know
Don't you worry, there's no need for us to fight
Don't you worry, we will be alright
Don't you worry, don't you worry
Don't you worry, don't you worry
Don't you worry, don't you worry
Don't you worry, don't you worry me!
Don't you worry, you don't have to be alone
Don't you worry, 'cause I just wanted you to know
Don't you worry, there's no need for us to fight
Don't you worry, we will be alright...
