Story Behind The Song

My best friend- my dog of 13 years passed away of old age and, as always, at the saddest of times, I came up with a joyful song. All I could think about was how 13 years ago, I rescued him from "death row" at the pound and by pure chance, he went from imminent euthanization to having the greatest life a dog can have. Pure inspiration behind this one.
