Lyrics
Robertson Mountain
I was just getting home
Tired to the bone
When my telephone rang
It was my Betty Dean "It was my lady, Jane?"
Listen to me
Would you please
I have someth'n to say
About what we started today
Chorus
You left a fire on Robertson Mountain
Raging out of control
Hot as a flaming volcano
Just about ready to blow
Jumped in my truck
Push'n my luck
Left black streaks
All the way to Emerson Creek
Love sav'n mission
Made the decision
I'm a fireman
Runn'n as fast as I can run
Chorus
You left a fire on Robertson Mountain
Raging out of control
Hot as a flaming volcano
Just about ready to blow
Don't leave me here to burn
You gotta put out this fire
It's a hard lesson to learn
To catch love in the flame
Of desire
Instrumental
Chorus
You left a fire on Robertson Mountain
Raging out of control
Hot as a flaming volcano
Just about ready to blow
