Story Behind The Song
I recently experienced the loss of one of my dearest friends, and found myself in a progressive set of dreams where I would re-unite with my loved one and carry on our relationship - only to see them die again at the end of each meeting. I found celebration and hope in their departure for a new life, while I cradled the empty wells of loss.
Song Description
When someone you love is suddenly removed from your life, the subconscious mind can mix the fiction of dreams with the reality of memories. In desperation, the mind, emotions, body and soul run free in the land of dreams, and expresses possibilities and wishes that are pressed down during the consciousness of the waking hours.
