If I could climb a vine up to the clouds, I'd collect all the coins I could. I'd shower crowds below with bits of gold, while failing to note, Just on what ground I stood. Not ground at all, and no cloud could break this fall, so look out below. Never thought dying, would feel this slow, but before I go, I will become one with the rain, and hope the sun can dry me back up again, and maybe I'll float down in a fog, I'll straighten my knees, and then dive straight in to the open seas. Growing accustomed to, a different blue, staying afloat's a worthy fight. I've got no need for air, I've stopped to care, and all around me fish take flight. For miles around I see no sight of ground and only a sound, that calls me out in the dead of night, then up on a beach I see: a man in robes, from times before, he kindly says to come ashore, and that many things may come to pass, there's one thing I'd like to ask: How do you scratch an itch you feel so deep it runs right through your veins? do you break the skin and let it rain? He said, your blood flows down, through this town, covering rooftops and painting a picture first deep red, then dark brown. I will become one with the rain, and wash the ground till it's free from the darkest stain. and maybe I should do like a tree, and shed all my leaves, and stand bare for the whole world to see.
