Story Behind The Song
This song was written because of a friend that developed a sense of lonliness and hidden depression caused by an unhealthy relationship ended by broken trust & unfaithfullness. They tried to hide everything and keep it all bottled up inside, but I, myself, have been in a very similar relationship and could see and understand what was happening, so I wrote about it for anyone who relates.

Lyrics
Being on the outside looking in doesn't make it any easier to live
You're pushing it behind you 'til the end...
You always said that regrets just ain't worth it
Trying to be strong,
But there's something in this world that's hanging on
Biting down your tongue
You were never one to say what's really going on
Living on the inside feels like home, but the people never really seem to care
I'd wonder what it feels like, but I know
I wouldn't recommend that others go there
Crying far too long
All the pain is like a needle in your vein
Trying to be wrong
But the feeling of it just won't go away
I see the pain upon your eyes
Hidden well beneath the surface of your lies
And I know what's eating you inside
All the opposites are made for your demise
