Story Behind The Song

I love to read to my two small children, who are ages 2 and 4, and often a story captures not only their imagination, but mine as well. Such was the case with the magical story of Aquamarine. I wrote this piece to express the wistful sadness of endings that come too soon, as well as the triumphant hope of enduring love and friendship.
