Written during a very low ebb in my life. Music and lyrics came out pretty much at the same time. Plenty of editing and tweaking for the album, but the core of the song was there from the start. It's the album opener, but I reserve it for the closer of my live shows. Very uplifting live...

We all tend to have most if not all of the qualities, and experience the range of emotions and states listed in the song. I know I sure do. It's as much a reminder to me myself as it is something written for others.
