Story Behind The Song
this is a song to be released on my next cd, "Hammer Down!" It was recorded and mixed very dry, just the way I want it to be.........I wrote this song after a split with a friend. I felt like killin' the mother f'er but instead one drunken night in a Las Vegas hotel room, I grabbed the "Buddhist Bible" that comes in every room alongside the christian Bible........and well what I found in those pages coupled with the split ordeal.......I came up with this song.

Lyrics
Whispers of the Wind
Last summers fall, has come and gone, spinning round, round my head
Racing dreams against our selves, into a wild wind
Well, time has paid it?s tricks on us, time and time again,
and we talk about it all like whispers of the wind
Don?t think, about it much, it?s just a part we play
Don?t think, about it much, it?ll all get blown away
Well, time has paid it?s tricks on us, time and time again,
and we talk about it all like whispers of the wind
And so the skies have swallowed, up
More than any other thing
Our fearless soul of wonder
And drunken disbelief
And if you wish a sunny sky, don?t get lost out in the crowd
Although it?s dark and shadowless, the sun still shines behind the clouds
Well, time has paid it?s tricks on us, time and time again,
and we talk about it all like whispers of the wind
