Lyrics
The Leprosy Waltz
(Copyright 2004 Harry Petaccio)
I'd give my right arm to dance with you... dance the Leprosy Waltz. We'd slide a body-part or two, 'cross the room, as we
dance the Leprosy Waltz.
Others would look on with envy, as we gracefully danced 'cross the floor. I'd hold round your waist ever so tightly... severing
your legs from your torso....
Run your fingers through my hair... the six or seven that remain. But my darling please take care not to push right on through
to my brain.
I'd gently nibble your ear... for just a few minutes no more. For if I'm not very careful... it'll fall off your head to the floor.
I want to gently kiss you but I have no lips on my face. At times, it's very frustrating, being part of this sub-human race.
When the evening is over, to treasure the love in our hearts... Instead of exchanging momentos, we'll exchange body parts.
I'd always treasure this evening, if we dance the Leprosy Waltz. Our body parts a mesh, of runny human flesh. As we dance
the Leprosy Waltz.
